I've been working hard on trying to find some record, anything, to make sense of one of the things SHINE told us.

The thing under the temple? Dia told me about that.

One of the most confusing things was it seemed to believe Alastere was the 2nd planet in our solar system.

But we're the first. So I went digging through astronomical archives to try to find something, anything, that might back this up.

Most of the records here are Lunist in nature, so they don't mention anything like it, but there is a small collection of very old records.

One in particular was the records of an Ura by the name of Dzefs - I have the book here. It's quite old, but they were taking records of the sky from the time before Lun's arrival.

They lived very far north, and as such were able to take detailed observations, due to the long nights for part of the year.

They drew out by hand sections of the sky, slowly using a telescope to chart it.

We didn't really have any idea of what 'planets' were back then, so nearly everything is just labeled as stars.

...this is written in Old Meso Script, isn't it?

Yes, that's correct. I didn't know it when I started researching, but I learned it since.

This is a record of a very low angle in the sky. This area is near the sun, so it was only chartable when the sun was just enough below the horizon to see.

If we're looking for a planet that could be closer to the sun, it would have to be in these sorts of records. Only ones that could be taken in these kind of conditions.

This one, here. Dzefs described it as a 'moving star'.
