Alright, that's the end of our boat ride. Everyone, if you would hop down to the shoreline, please.

So that's Mount Ardens. Smaller than I thought it would be.

I'm to understand the surface reshapes itself quite often. This area offshore is where a great deal of volanic material settles, then is pulled down into the mantle.

The stone's all in a cycle, returning to the surface every few years, and then being pulled back under.

Because of that, the mountain's surface is remarkably hostile. We have to travel completely around it to the other side, through some dense undergrowth.

I'm noticin' a point where all plant life just... stops.

Probably something to do with where the shifting parts of the mountain are. The mountain of the Nature Nexus, Mount Silvestre, is entirely covered in forest and jungle. Which is always changing, as well.

Nearly impossible to navigate, if you don't know the secret paths. Seems to be a common thread between the Nexuses.

That's everyone! Thank you for the boat ride, you can report back to the Admiral we will be heading inland.

Wonderful! Everyone's all set?

So we're making our way to the other side?

That's right. We're to meet the monks at a small base they've made in the forest on the other side.

They use it as a base of operations for rescuing more of the trapped monks. We have a few bells to travel the distance, which I'm told is slow going.
